Ondo Students Laud Governor Aiyedatiwa Over Bursary Approval.
The National Association of Ondo State Students (NAOSS) has commended the Governor of Ondo State, Dr. Lucky Aiyedatiwa, for approving the payment of bursaries to students of the state across the country.
In a statement signed by its Global President, Comrade Alade Temitope Tosin (Coded), the association described the governor’s decision as a timely and transformative gesture that will go a long way in alleviating the financial challenges facing students.
According to NAOSS, the bursary approval is a significant milestone that stresses the governor’s dedication to supporting the academic pursuits of all Ondo State students.
“Your leadership style, marked by empathy, selflessness, and a deep understanding of the needs of students, has earned you the admiration, respect, and gratitude of the entire Ondo State student community. The approval of our bursary payment is a testament to your unwavering commitment to ensuring that no student is left behind due to financial constraints.” The association said.
NAOSS further praised Governor Aiyedatiwa’s fatherly approach to governance, noting that his efforts had created a sense of belonging and security among students.
“Your leadership has set a new standard for public service, and we are honored to have you at the helm of affairs in Ondo State,” the association added.
While reiterating their support for the present administration, NAOSS assured the governor of the students’ commitment to work with his government in achieving its vision for the state.
Comrade Alade concluded by reaffirming the gratitude of Ondo State students, saying the bursary approval had illuminated the path to academic excellence and further strengthened their confidence in the government’s dedication to youth and educational development.
It would be recalled that the governor had, last year, increased the annual bursary of students from N10,000 to N20,000, while students with disabilities received N75,000 each and scholarship beneficiaries got N100,000 each.
