Oba Akinfolarin is set to install Aiyedatiwa’s Aide, Akinsola Wemimo as the new Bobajiro of Akotogbo Kingdom, August 22
Akotogbo Kingdom in Ondo State will on Friday, August 22, 2025, honor *Hon. Rotimi Wemimo Akinsola, Senior Special Assistant on Agriculture and Agribusiness*, with the prestigious chieftaincy title of *Bobajiro of Akotogbo Kingdom.*
The ceremony will be performed by *His Imperial Majesty, Alayeluwa Oba (Barr.) Michael Elumaro Akinfolarin, Keneyin II,* the Larogbo of Akotogbo Kingdom and Paramount Ruler of Akotogbo Land, alongside the revered Council of Chiefs.
Hon. Akinsola described the recognition as humbling and inspiring, pledging to continue contributing to the kingdom’s growth and development, while appreciating God for His mercy and favor.
Traditionally, the title of Bobajiro is reserved for distinguished individuals who have made notable contributions to the socio-economic progress of the kingdom. The event is expected to attract dignitaries, community leaders, and well-wishers from within and beyond the state.
