ONDO 2020: Funso Esan, Aiyedatiwa, Danilola, Akinruntan, Ilawole, others say Akeredolu’s re-election is unnegotiable

The Governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has enjoyed the full supports of Ilaje local government leaders.

Ilaje leaders Forum passed vote of confidence on Governor Akeredolu and insisted that his re-election is not negotiable.

The Commissioner for Environment, Hon. Funso Esan, while addressing the leaders urged them to keep faith with the Governor and ensured he’s returned to Alagbaka house.

The meeting which was held at Funso Esan’s house in Igbokoda, yesterday, 22nd May, 2020 had in attendance: Hon. Funso Esan, Commissioner for Environment; Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa, former NDDC Commissioner; Mr. Raphael Danilola, MD Danilux Company; Hon. Akinruntan Abayomi, Member Ondo State House of Assembly representing Ilaje Constituency 1; Dr. Wumi Egbayelo, Special Adviser to the Governor on Education; Dr. Ibukun Omotehinse, former NDDC Commissioner; Hon. Olumide Ikupenikan, OSOPADEC Board Member; Barr. Abiye Adeyemi (Oil money); Hon. Olumide Mekuleyi, Barr. Okeorisa amongst others.

Coastal Renaissance gathered that the OSOPADEC Chairman, Barr. Olugbenga Edema who was absent from the meeting for official assignment took apology and as well called the Chairman of the leaders’ caucus while the meeting was on to pledge his full support for Akeredolu’s re-election.

While reacting, Barr. Abiye Adeyemi (Oil Money) on behalf of Ugbo Ward VI thanked the Governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu for the new appointment given to their son, Hon. Ayenuro Israel as the Education Secretary in Ilaje local government. He also appreciated all Ilaje leaders for their cooperations and supports to make the appointment possible.

Hon. Esan finally commended the good work of the Governor, saying that the Governor has done much for the state in terms of providing infrastructural development. He also applauded the tremendous achievements of the Governor for the past three years, stressing the need for the people of Ondo State to rally round him for his re-election.
