2023: Akure North House of Assembly major aspirant, Ogunsuyi Omololu empowers aged, widows, says I am prepared to serve the constituents but not to be served

In a partial fulfillment to showcase his good plan and intention for the constituents, Akure North House of Assembly major aspirant, Ogunsiyi Omololu, has empowered aged, widows in Akure North Local Government.

The event which took place at Oba Ogunmusi’s Palace in Alayere Community on 7th April, 2023, was purposely to put smiles on the faces of the constituents, especially, the aged and widows.

At the event, he gave financial assistance to aged and widows and also gave them free medical care as well as free drugs.

The programme was a huge success as majority of the prominent leaders, elders, youths, women were fully on ground to witness the empowerment programme. Others who attended were Local Government executives, ward executives and party’s members.

While giving his opening remark, Prince Omololu, a major aspirant for the Ondo State House of Assembly under the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), said empowering the aged and widows will reduce the poverty rate in the local government.

According to him, “aged and widows are very important people in the society, even the Bible gives special attention to them that they need to be given support and proper care. They should not be disregarded in any way; that is the singular reason I have come up with this initiative to strengthen them and reduce the high level of poverty rate in our society.”

“Therefore, I have qualified myself well for the calling and well determined to give the people a sound and a world-class representation devoid of egoism and egotism. I am prepared to serve the constituents but not to be served”

Ogunsuyi Omololu, an Imperial Prince of Alayere kingdom of Akure North is a grassroot mobiliser, a courteous and exceptional philanthropist, a loving promoter of youths, a man of impregnable integrity with unquestionable characters, a man who has always used a good symbol to symbolise his symbolic symbolism, a promoter of peace and a God-fearing man.

Some of the beneficiaries commended the effort of Prince Omololu and appreciated his kind gesture. They also prayed for him for more effort as he becomes the member of the Ondo State House of Assembly representing Akure North Constituency.
