2023 Gubernatorial poll: Tajudeen Olusi’s Aide, Adeyefa congratulates Babajide Sanwo-Olu for his re-election as Governor of Lagos State

A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and S.A (Political) to Prince Tajudeen Olusi – Member, Lagos State Governor Advisory Council, Hon. Adejare Adeyefa, has congratulated Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu for his re-election as Governor of Lagos State.
Sanwo-Olu, who polled 762,134 votes, defeated his closest rival, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour of the Labour Party who polled 312,329 and followed by Olajide Adeniran of the Peoples Democratic Party who polled 62,449 votes.
The total number of registered voters in the state is 7,060,195, but the number of accredited voters for the poll was 1,182,620.
While the incumbent governor cleared 19 out of 20 LGAs, his opponent, Rhodes-Vivour, won in only one LG, Amuwo-Odofin.
Hon. Adejare Adeyefa who is a member of the APC Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), Contact and Mobilisation, South West, described Sanwo-Olu’s victory as a reflection of his outstanding performance and good governance during his first term as Governor of Lagos State.
In a congratulatory message made available to Coastal Renaissance correspondence by Comrade Niyi Majofodun, SA Media and Publicity to Hon. Adeyefa said, “I want to specially commend the outstanding victory of the Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu for his re-election”.
“I Salute your courage and spirit of self determination to path the way to success. You were resolute and refused to be moved by the screaming of the opposition parties”.
“As Your Excellency swims in the ocean of victory and affluence as the Governor of Lagos State in another 4 years, I pray that God shall grant you divine wisdom and knowledge coupled with sound health to pilot the affairs of Lagos more effectively and efficiently”.
While acknowledging the outstanding support of his boss and political father, Adeyefa also congratulated Prince Tajudeen Olusi for his selfless service and sacrifice in ensuring maximum victory for Babajide Sanwo-Olu, proving the alliens in Lagos State wrong of their assertion that Lagos is ‘no man’s Land'”.
He finally prayed for Prince Olusi that God should grant him long life to enjoy the dividends of democracy and also reap the fruit of his labour for Yoruba land.
