*Gov. Akeredolu Presents Staff Of Office To First Arapanata of Itebukunmi, Prof. Aderibigbe Olomola*

_…as an illustrious son of Itebukunmi, Omolade Emuleomo applauds Governor Akeredolu’s historic decision to upgrade Oloja of Itebukunmi to a monarch, assuring the readiness of all sons and daughters of the community to rally round the monarch in attracting development to the kingdom._

Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, on Friday, 16th December, 2022 presented the Instrument of Appointment and Staff of Office to the first Arapanata of Itebukunmi, HRH Oba (Prof.) Aderibigbe Olomola.

At the official presentation at Itebukunmi, Ilaje Local Government Area of Ondo State, Governor Akeredolu charged the new monarch to see his ascension to the throne as a call to service to his people and to impact positively on their lives.

The Governor while congratulating Oba Olomola, also commended the Olomola Ruling House and the people of Itebukunmi for the smooth and peaceful process of the selection of the new monarch.

The Governor prayed God for peaceful and successful reign of the monarch.

The Governor stressed further that his administration is passionate and fully committed to the development of every community across the state, Akeredolu enjoined the Kabiyesi to always exhibit high level of integrity in the discharge of his responsibility by limiting himself and activities to his area of jurisdiction only.

He called on the people of Itebukunmi to collectively give their unalloyed co-operation and support to Oba Aderibigbe Olomola to ensure peaceful coexistence in the community.

The Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Akogun Akin Sowore, who represented the Governor, appreciated him for always ensuring peaceful selection and appointment of monarchs across the state.

Speaking after his installation, the new monarch, Oba Aderibigbe Olomola, commended the Governor for his giant infrastructure strides across the state, promising to do his best to transform the Itebukunmi community and also maintain proper security and peace in the land.

Also, one of the illustrious sons of Itebukunmi, Mr. Omolade Emuleomo, who spoke with our correspondence at Coastal Renaissance news, appreciated Governor Akeredolu for giving Itebukunmi the due recognition she deserves by upgrading the Oloja of the community to an Oba.

Mr. Omolade Emuleomo noted that the promotion would enhance the performance of the traditional ruler in ensuring the development of his domain.

According to Mr. Omolade Emuleomo, “I want to commend our amiable Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu SAN, for the historic stride he took by upgrading our Oloja to an Oba.

Emuleomo assured that all sons and daughters of Itebukunmi would to rally round the monarch in attracting development to the kingdom.
