Agboola Ajayi’s resignation rumour: Akeredolu pencils down Lucky Aiyedatiwa as the next Deputy Governor
Following the rumour making round the street that the Ondo State Deputy Governor will resign his position as the Deputy Governor before the end of this month, June 2020.
Coastal Renaissance learnt that Governor Akeredolu has pencilled down and concluded plan to present the former Commissioner representing Ondo State at the Board of Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa as the next Deputy Governor of Ondo State.
Coastal Renaissance gathered that Aiyedatiwa will be considered for the position of Deputy Governor based on his loyalty, commitment, outstanding roles, contributions and massive mobilisation for the re-election of Governor Akeredolu. Earlier,
Aiyedatiwa had been appointed by the leadership of the APC in the state as the Patron of ‘Ibi Giga Grassroot Network’ – a group approved by Mr. Governor in the Ondo South Senatorial District to carry out house-to-house campaign for Akeredolu’s second term.
