AGAGU’S DEATH: BUNMI TUNJI-OJO DECLARES A MINUTE POSTHUMOUS SILENCE AT NIGER DELTA STAKEHOLDERS’ MEETING IN ABUJA, SAYS HIS LEGACIES LIVE AFTER HIM
A member House of Representatives representing Akoko North East/Akoko North West Federal Constituency and the Chairman, House Committee on NDDC, Hon. Bunmi Tunji-Ojo fondly called BTO, had declared and observed a minutes’s silence in the memory of late Dr. Olusegun Agagu, former Governor of Ondo State, on Tuesday 16th February, 2021 during the Niger Delta stakeholders’ meeting held in Abuja.
While reacting to the advocacy and demand of the Niger Delta stakeholders that all the NDDC contractors who had been paid either recently or in the past should be encouraged and mandated to move back to sites and complete the projects and that all the contractors who are due for payment should be adequately mobilised and paid, called the Niger Delta stakeholders to observe a minute’s silence in the memory of Dr. Olusegun Agagu and maintained that good legacies of Dr. Agagu still live. He charged all the people to emulate his antecedents.
The meeting, which took place at Nera Hetel, Abuja, have in attendance Hon. Bunmi Tunji-Ojo, Hon. Adeboro Onibalusi, Prince Poroye Biyi Bill, Hon. Bright Ojubuyi, Hon. Abayomi (NFA), Hon. Taiwo Ilesanmi Gbamila, Comrade Deji Ebisemiju, Omo’ba Omowole Oluwagheyinmi etc. Also, different groups from the Ondo State Niger Delta area were present at the event.
