Ahead of 2023 Census, NPC sets to begin Supervisors’ and Enumerators’ training February 6, as Ondo Federal Commissioner, Diran Iyantan assures effective service delivery of the exercise
The National Population Commission (NPC), in readiness for the 2023 Population and Housing Census Exercise, has planned out to train the Enumerators and Supervisors NPC Adhoc Staff in February, 2023.
The NPC made this known to Coastal Renaissance news correspondence while responding to enquiry on the Commission’s activities as it gears towards the Person’s enumeration scheduled to hold from 29th March, 2023 to 2nd April, 2023.
According to the NPC Federal Commissioner representing Ondo State, Hon. Diran Iyantan, “the Enumerators and Supervisors Training commencement Date is 6th February, 2023”.
“The Commission’s Revised Census Calendar for the 2023 Census Exercise has indicated that the Enumerators and Supervisors Training will be at a Local Government Level, and will last for 5days, ending on 10th February, 2023”.
Recall that the NPC had shortlisted, and currently rounding off the training organised for Specialised WorkForce, and Facilitators who would in turn train the Enumerators and Supervisors in their respective LGAs.
“The NPC Adhoc Staff Salary has been revealed while the Screening of the Enumerators and Supervisors which commenced on 16th January, 2022 has interred with the NPC’s plan to enrol them on E-Learning, which is usually followed by NPC Quiz and NPC Final Exam, it is indicative that the Commission would revisit the stage during the LGA based Training”.
The Commission had earlier scheduled to enrol the Enumerators and Supervisors on the E-Learning Class Room from 23rd January 2023 to 28th January, 2023 but the Screening of the numerous Enumerator and Supervisor Adhoc Staff Applicants has taken more time than planned.
“At the moment, the Enumerators and Supervisor are on the Screening exercise being conducted within the Applicants LGAs”.
“The final list of Enumerators and Supervisors NPC Adhoc Staff who would be trained for the 2023 Population and Housing Census Exercise, would be released before 6th February 2023”.
In his statement, the NPC State Director in Ondo State, Mr. Oluyemi Falusi said that the NPC Adhoc Staff Recruitment Website is Down and that NPC Adhoc Staff Applicants who applied as Enumerators and Supervisors should note that the final lists of Enumerators and Supervisors are not yet out. Any list that claims to be list of Enumerators and Supervisors is Fake.
“The successful NPC Adhoc Staff Enumerators and Supervisors who passed the NPC Adhoc Staff Screening, will be invited via Text Message, for the 5 days LGA Level Training”.
