Ajose Kudehinbu’s appointment as Chairman Ondo State Civil Service Commission, a round peg in a round hole, Chairman Mahin/Aheri/Etikan Youth Congress, Femi Williams eulogizes Governor Akeredolu
The Chairman, Mahin/Aheri/Etikan Youth Congress, Comrade Femi Williams, has appreciated the Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN for appointing an illustrious son of Ilaje land – a former Head of Service in Ondo State, Prince (Barr.) Ajose Kudehinbu as the Chairman, Ondo State Civil Service Commission. He also congratulated the newly confirmed Chairman of the Ondo State Civil Service Commission, Prince (Barr.) Ajose Kudehinbu.
Comrade Femi Williams made these commendation and congratulation while speaking with Coastal Renaissance online on a telephone call.
You would recall that the Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu had earlier announced the appointment of Prince Ajose Kudehinbu on 28th March this year until recently on 22nd June when his name was presented to the Ondo State House of Assembly for ratification as the Chairman, Ondo State Civil Service Commission.
He said, “the appointment of Prince Ajose Kudehinbu as Chairman Ondo State Civil Service Commission by Governor Akeredolu is a round peg in a round hole”.
At the plenary, the Speaker, Rt. Honorable Prophet Oleyelogun Bamidele David welcomed all the Honourable members of the plenary after the protracted strike they embarked upon, he
recalled that the strike by PASAN was to enhance the implementation of financial autonomy for legislatures as enshrined in the constitution.
In his statement, the Speaker acknowledged the letter sent by the Governor to the House of Assembly which he announced to the members.
“Shortly before the strike, a letter was forwarded to the House requesting for the approval of the two nominees as Chairman and member of the Ondo State Civil Service Commission.
At plenary on Tuesday, Prince Ajose Kudehinbu was confirmed the Chairman, Ondo State Civil Service Commission.
Shortly after the confirmation, Prince Ajose Kudehinbu has pledged to deploy his experience towards the development of the Civil Service of Ondo State.
The Chairman of Mahin/Aheri/Etikan, Comrade Femi Williams commended the efforts of Governor for appointing the right person to pilot the affairs of the Commission. He further reposed confidence on the ability and capability of Prince Kudehinbu in discharging his responsibilities beyond the expectations of the Governor.
Moreover, Comrade Femi Williams used the opportunity to congratulate Governor Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu SAN and his Deputy, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa on their recent victory at the Appeal Court and promised the total support of the group in taking Ondo State to a greater height.
He finally thanked the Governor for the great opportunity given to Ilajes in his second term administration, to serve in different capacities. He equally appreciated the commitment and loyalty of the Deputy Governor, Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa to his boss, Akeredolu and prayed for both of them to continue to swim in the ocean of victory, progress and prosperity.
