Akeredolu’s funeral: Governor Aiyedatiwa orders immediate clean-up of Ondo State as ZL Global Alliance commences intensive and general cleaning
Following the line up funeral programmes of late Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN, CON, which commenced on Thursday 15th, 2024 with the ‘Winning Souls Crusade’ organised by the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN. The crusade marked the beginning of the funeral arrangements of late Governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, CON, who passed on to eternal glory on the 27th December, 2023.
Ahead of Wednesday line up programmes in Ondo State – Ajabue (Traditional Rites) in Owo, Special Court Session in Akure, Lying in State and Commendation Service in Akure, the
Governor of Ondo State, His Excellency, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has ordered a comprehensive cleanup of the entire Ondo State as ZL Global Alliance commenced intensive and general cleaning of Akure city, Ogbese Road along Owo Road and Akeredolu’s residence in Owo.
In a bid to attract a healthy environment for a befitting funeral for the late Governor Akeredolu, Governor Aiyedatiwa has directed an immediate evacuation of scraps and garbage in Ondo State, particularly in Akure South, Akure North and Owo Local Governments
