Akoko North East/North West Federal Constituency: Money cannot prevent any student from having access to quality education, Reps member, Bunmi Tunji-Ojo vows, launches N50m Scholarship Scheme for students
A federal lawmaker representing Akoko North East/North West Federal Constituency in the Green Chamber of the National Assembly has launched a Fifty Million Naira (N50M) Scholarship Scheme for Students from his federal constituency in the Tertiary Institutions across Nigeria.
This scheme which is supposedly to improve the educational development of the students from his federal constituency.
You would recall that the federal lawmaker, Bunmi Tunji-Ojo, had earlier facilitated diffusion some block of classrooms and also donated some computer sets, educational materials, free UTME forms and extra coaching class for over 2,000 students and other notable interventions in the education sector.
The Education Support drive is to help reduce the burden of education on the parents and also ensure that no child is denied access to quality education.
The registration for the Scholarship Scheme will commence on Monday, 15th August, 2022 for all the students from Akoko North East and Akoko North West Local Government area of Ondo State.
Coastal Renaissance news learnt that the registration form is free of charge, and to be obtained from Presidents of students body in each of the community across the Federal Constituency. This is to ensure that nobody is denied access to the form.
It can also be downloaded on www.bto.ng and submitted same to the community Presidents whose contact details will be made available on the website too.
The forms will be given out to all qualified students irrespective of religious or political alignment, Constituents are to take note of this.
