Akure-born business mogul, Babatope David bags Ondo State outstanding leadership award as the best youths empowerer & philanthropist of the year
The Group Managing Director (GMD) of Luminus Impact International Energy and Marine, Prince Babatope Benson David popularly called “King-David” was awarded Ondo State Outstanding Leadership award by the Hero Magazine International.
The programme which was held yesterday, Sunday 12th September, 2021 at International Culture and Event Centre (The Dome), Akure Ondo State.
Prince Babatope David hails from Odopetu-Akure, Ondo State. He is also the Sadauki Danburam of Daura 11, by the Daura Emirate council, in kastina state by the Head of Daura, His Imperial majesty, Danburam of Daura. He is a
philanthropist per excellence and a peace builder of repute. Prince Babatope David is the first to be Turbaned in Daura from the Southern part of Nigeria. He is often described as a pillar of peace maker and a man whose interest is in the developmental of the youths and the needy. He uses his God’s given wealth to touch the lives of people in a most superlative way.

Commenting on the award, Prince Poroye Biyi described the award as noble. He further expressed a deep delight that Prince Babatope David was not only doing well as a good ambassador but also as a humanism with passion for the development of the youth and Human development in general.
“Babatope David believes in what you have built not what you have bought; he believes in what you gave not what you got; he believes in how many people you have impacted in their lives not how many properties you have acquired; he believes in sacrifice but not significance and above all, he believes in grace but not grade”. Poroye said.
