Alayede of Ayede Ogbese, Oba Ajibola Oluyede and Olori Olufunmilayo set to celebrate one-year coronation anniversary, March 4
Measures are in place currently in the ancient town of Ayede Ogbese, Akure North Local Government Area of Ondo State, Nigeria, as the Alayede of Ayede Ogbese, HRM Alayeluwa Oba Ajibola Olayeye Oluyede, Ise Oluwa II and his illustrious wife, HRH Olori Olufunmilayo Nejo-Oluyede conclude plans to celebrate the one-year coronation anniversary of the eminent monarch.
The coronation anniversary celebration earlier scheduled for Friday, 30th December 2022, was postponed. The event, now rescheduled, will hold in royal pomp and pageantry on *Saturday, 4th March, 2023* at the Royal Ranch, Ayede Ogbese, commencing at 12.00pm prompt.
You would recall that on December 18, 2021, the Governor of Ondo State, His Excellency, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN., personally presented the Instrument of Appointment and Staff of Office to Oba Oluyede (a deed described by the Governor as ‘an honour to a long-term friend’) in a magnificent, memorable ceremony with eminent personalities from far and wide.
Coastal Renaissance gathered that this forthcoming anniversary ceremony will primarily comprise a musical concert on the theme “A Meeting with the KING of kings”, and will be the second of the ‘OBA Awon Oba’ annual commemorative events.
On the august occasion, Ayede Ogbese sons and daughters will joyously celebrate their revered, 21st Century transformational monarch and his beautiful Olori alongside specially invited dignitaries, with a 100-member mass choir and instrumentalists from the award-winning De Emeralds Choir, the Ondo State National Cultural Troupe et al.
The event will no doubt be yet another impressive, exquisite affair -which has fast become the hallmark of events hosted by Oba Oluyede and his Olori.
