APC Chieftain, Biyi Poroye Celebrates Birthday With Less Privileged, Donates Foodstuffs

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC and Executive Director on Business Development of the Alpha 3D in Ondo State, Prince Biyi Poroye, has distributed gifts to the less privileged in Akure, capital city of Ondo State to mark his 2022 birthday celebration.
As part of the fulfilment of lined up activities for the birthday celebration on Sunday, 23rd October, 2022, he had earlier visited the less privileged on Saturday at Old garage beside Polaris bank in Akure, Ondo State to celebrate with the physically challenged people, thus distributed foodstuffs to them.
In recognition of his outstanding service and devotion to the work of God, the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Strong Tower Parish, Akure, Ondo State, has organized a befitting birthday surprise for Prince Poroye in church this morning.
As Poroye stepped out of his car around 7:30am this morning, moving to the church auditorium at Ajipowo-Akure, Ondo State, he met a surprise decorations of birthday cakes, frame and other gifts items in front of the church altar to celebrate his birthday.
The Pastors and church members broke into a chorus, as they began chanting “Happy Birthday, Pastor Poroye.”
The Area Pastor in charge of the Parish, Pastor Segun Akinola, who spoke on behalf of the church members, and Zonal Pastor Upper Room in charge of the Zone, Pastor Ezekiel Adebire, congratulated the celebrant on the good work he is doing for the house of God. They both wished him a happy birthday, many healthy years ahead and the energy to give his best to the house of God.
In the same manner, the Registrar, Ondo State Training Institute, Ilara-Mokin, Pastor Fred Orunko, commended the outstanding work of the celebrant in the vineyard of God and prayed earnestly for the celebrant for more power and grace to do more for God. Also, Pastor Samuel Adebayo, Director at the Ministry of Agriculture, Ondo State, applauded the effectiveness and efficiency of the celebrant in the church of God, thus, all the men of God present joined their anointing to pray for the progress of the celebrant and also prayed for his family to continue to swim in the ocean of peace, joy, gladness coupled with sound health.
In his remarks, after cutting of the birthday cake, Prince Poroye, appreciated God for sparing his life to witness the 2022 birthday in good health.
He said that gifts like foodstuffs were distributed yesterday, Saturday which he said would continue after the service today just to alleviate the poverty and hardship of the less privileged.
Poroye while speaking said, he was humbled by the birthday coup ploted by the church members. He specially commended the proactive leadership style of Pastor Segun Akinola and also acknowledged Pastor Adebayo’s style of executing such a perfect birthday surprise without being suspected.
“Well, I am not surprised with the organization of birthday surprise because I know Pastor Samuel Adebayo to be a professional coup plotter in organising a perfect surprise programme for his kinsmen”.
According to him, “I am inspired in my spirit this year to celebrate 2022 birthday with the less privileged to letting them feel honored, loved and appreciated.
“I prefer to put all my resources together to help the less privileged than to have millions and be enjoying it alone”.
Poroye added that it would be unwise for him to celebrate the birthday without remembering the people, who actually in need.
“It is my usual practice to set a particular amount for the less privileged because it is in tandem with the Bible”.
“I want to glorify the name of the Lord for His mercy for sparing my life to witness this day in good health,” he said.
