APC Chieftain, Richard Alomore congratulates Gov. Aiyedatiwa, says God has raised him to change the narrative of Ondo State for better
A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State, Barr. Richard Alomore, has congratulated the Governor Ondo State and the party’s candidate during last Saturday’s election, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, on his victory at the poll.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Sunday announced Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa of the APC as the winner of the election with 366,781 votes to defeat his opponent, Agboola Ajayi of the PDP who got 117,845 votes.
Barr. Alomore while congratulating the Governor, described Aiyedatiwa’s victory as a well-deserved and an era of a new dawn in Ondo State politics.
According to him, “the good people of Ondo State have spoken loud and ensured that their votes counted. They have also expressed confidence in the leadership style of Governor Aiyedatiwa and give him the leave to continue his good work for the state.
“Barr. Alomore also congratulated the good people of Ondo State, who overwhelmingly voted for accelerated development of a new Ondo State. It is democracy in action. The journey to a new Ondo State has started with Aiyedatiwa. Why? In the history of Ondo State, no candidate had ever won 18 local government areas to become the Governor, except Aiyedatiwa, no candidate had ever scored 300,000 votes but Aiyedatiwa scored 366,781. The implication of this, is that God has raised Aiyedatiwa to change the narrative of Ondo State for better.”
He prayed for the Governor to rule Ondo State in peace with sound health and God’s wisdom.
