APC: Hon. Oyewunmi Mathew congratulates Tinubu for winning Presidential primary, says his emergence is a victory for democracy
A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State, Hon. Oyewunmi Mathew on Wednesday, congratulated Asiwaju Bola Tinubu for emerging presidential flag bearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
While speaking with Coastal Renaissance news described the emergence of Asiwaju as victory for democracy. He said, “the result margin between Bola Tinubu who got the first position and Rt. Hon. Rotimi Ameachi who got the second position at the 2023 presidential election primary has shown that Tinubu is a giant political figure in Nigeria politics”.
He said “Your emergence at the just concluded Presidential Primary of our great party, APC, is indeed a reward of your tireless efforts in bring APC on board and your selfless services in making sure that Nigeria is progressing”.
“Your leadership sagacity has been generally acknowledged by many and you are just a finest politician who has been using his God-given wisdom and wealth to build human capital development”.
“With your antecedents coupled with your outstanding credentials in both private and public sectors, I am resolute that your emergence as candidate of our great party, APC, will deliver victory in virtually all the states across the country”.
“I am impressed by the brilliant, excellent and wonderful performance of Asiwaju during the exercises”.
Hon. Oyewunmi while congratulating Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, charged him to be magnanimous in victory and appealed to him to accommodate all, using principle of ‘no winner, no loser’ and consequently carry them along in the activities of his campaign.
Hon. Oyewunmi specially appreciated all the Northern Governors who abide by the principle of conventional zoning arrangement, he further gave kudos to all Northern politicians whose leaders unanimously stood by conventional zoning arrangement thereby making it possible for a Southern candidate to emerge.
