Appointments: Oyinkansola Williams hails Akeredolu, congratulates Olamide Falana and Yetunde Adeyanju
A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State, Mrs. Oyinkansola Williams, has congratulated Mr. Olamide Falana and Mrs. Yetunde Adeyanju on their appointments as Special Adviser and Commissioner respectfully by Governor Akeredolu.
In a statement made available to Coastal Renaissance yesterday, stated that the appointment of Olamide Falana and Yetunde Adeyanju is a further testimony to the fact that Governor Akeredolu has deep interest in hiring accomplished politicians and experienced professionals to work with him in order to achieve the best for Ondo State.
Mrs. Oyinkansola Williams was Secretary Women Organization, Akeredolu/Aiyedatiwa Governorship Campaign Council in the last governorship election in Ondo State.
According to the statement, “I want to sincerely commend Mr. Governor for his Spirit of “talk and do” which he has demonstrated in considering women in his administration which is a true reflection of govenrment who believe in gender equality.
I am aware of the excellent pedigree of Olamide Falana and Yetunde Adeyanju.
The duo have qualified themselves well hence deliberately and consciously developed their capacities to manage complex situation to achieve better results”.
“Adeyanju’s leadership qualities manifested while she was serving as Commissioner for Water Resources. Her contribution to the stability of that important Ministry, and by extension, the state’s economy cannot be over emphasised”.
“Moreover, the appointment of the duo have further reinforced our hopes that the political leadership of our dear state will not overlook experienced politicians in appointing individuals to manage strategic Ministry.”
While appreciating Akeredolu for the appointment of the duo, Oyinkansola Williams wished them a highly successful tenure of office.
