Ashiry Club of Nigeria celebrates Easter in grand style as Segun Odidi Chairman the planning committee, encourages students to be more proactive in their academic pursuits

Ashiry club of Nigeria, a socio- cultural organization had in grand style her Easter retreat for year 2022 at Bliss view hotel, Ode- Irele on Saturday 16th of April 2022.

The event which attracts club members and other notable personalities from the Society was full of fun and merry making.
As part of the activities for the retreat, the club gave Scholarship awards to Twenty Best Students in Twenty secondary schools across Okitipupa/ Irele Federal Constituency.

While speaking at the event, the Chairman, Planning Committee, Com Segun Odidi welcome members, the students beneficiaries and their Teachers to the event as he congratulate the Students and encourage them to be more dedicated to their studies.
In his words, Com Odidi said ” I congratulate all of you for being the best students in your respective schools, I want to further encourage you to continue in this stead as hard work and tenacity of purpose always paid off in the lives of such person. He also thanked the Teachers who came with the students for the yeoman job they are doing in imparting positively to the society.

Also speaking at the event, the Chairman of the Club, Apostle Kwofie Bamidele eulogized the students for their dedication to their studies and promise that next year event will accommodate more beneficiaries and also announced that the club will pick one person each from Okitipupa, Irele and other part of Ondo South most especially to be given scholarship up to University level.

The handing over of the financial award was conducted by the Chairman, BOT of the club, Barr Kunle Ayegbe surrounded by members of the club present.

After the presentation, members and Guests alike were treated to sumptuous food and drinks and were entertained by a popular musician ( Ojulere).

Prominent personalities that graced the occasion includes, Hon Abayomi Sheba, Barr Gbenga Sheba, Com Lekan Ayebamerun, Ashiry club members like Dr Gbadebo Akindele, Ayodeji Akindoyeni, Ayo Ayelomi, Deji Saun, Akin Oboje, Barr Wole Akinyelure, Yeyeoge of Ashiry, Mrs Olawunmi, Aare Jobi Enimade, Ashiry Rotimi, Ayebamerun( Akala), Apostle kwofie Bamidele, Barr Kunle Ayegbe, Com Segun Odidi, Debola Adejayan, Daisi Onetufo, Gudu, Olumide Ogunje, and host of others.
