Some faceless leaders from Ondo State (name withheld for now) who intended to malign Hon. Bunmi Tunji-Ojo’s image and defame his relevance in the national politics, have failed woefully on their missions.
The uprightness and outstanding achievements of the federal lawmaker have outshined their devilish and satanic missions.
The venom against BTO with lieu to petition written to president Bola Tinubu concerning how BTO managed the affairs of the NDDC as Chairman, House Committee of the Commission in last four years was hysterically fatuous and moronic.
It is not contestable that the chairmanship of the House Committee on NDDC is not the exclusive right of a state but for all the 9 states that made up the Niger Delta region, constructively, it’s the prerogative of the Hon.Speaker and it can be given to any member of the house from any of the states that constitute the Niger Delta Region in the country.
The faceless Ondo State leaders who involved in this incessant errand need to be educated in some certain things especially where their cause to fight for ilaje land should be channeled to.
Apparently, BTO employed not less than 10 Ilajes into the NDDC and several people from Ikale, Ese-odo local government even from other Niger Delta states which was far achievable and appreciative than what our past Senators, House of Representatives Members and NDDC Board Members had ever done in the history of the NDDC’s archives.
It would be recall that Hon.Agbola Ajayi was once the Chairman, House Committees on NDDC, may I humbly ask that what achievement could be showed off that is emphatic than what BTO had done? As a matter of fact, BTO must be celebrated as a messiah, philanthropist and goals achiever of our dispensation. He must be applauded and praised for his wonderful deeds so far.
Some ignorant people will say, BTO did not execute any capital project in Ilaje land Ese-Odo. For me, that is a myopic reasoning. As Chairman, House Committee on NDDC, the law only allows him to oversee the budget of the NDDC at the green chamber. Projects can only be influenced by him but best executed through the Federal Constituency representative.
It’s so pathetic then that while some responsible ilaje leaders were in court challenging the national assembly volition against the constitutional provisions of the NDDC Act which restricted the appointment of the NDDC MD, EDP, EDF and Board Members to the indigene of the oil producing communities, which however negated the appointment of Mr. Charles Ogunmola from Owo as EDP of the Commission; the so called lazy set of political leaders and elders from Ilaje were already parading Charles Ogunmola from OWO local government because they had been lured with a handsome douceur.
Pitifully, Osopadec is incapacitated from delivering its quota over the years now, debilitatedly in state of rationing and privation, if I may ask was BTO responsible for that?
Frankly speaking, some faceless leaders doing this, need orientation and revelation of a hidden truth, unfortunately, instead of our youths to engage in productive exercises, rather, sent an errand to besmirch BTO.
It’s well thought out for any leader or youth from ilaje to carefully confirm any news before propagating it because what ends such hypocritical journey is always shameful.
It’s very satanic and sardonic that the employment list posted on the social media was faked and hoaxed.
Following the purported NDDC employment fake list being circulated by some unscrupulous elements, may I humbly ask these questions.
1. Is OLUWOLE IWALEFUN from Ese-Odo? NO. He’s from Ilaje LG
2. Is BALOGUN BABAJIDE from Akoko? NO, he’s from Ilaje LG.
3. Is OMOWANLE TEMITOPE from Akoko? NO, she’s from Ilaje LG.
4. AND MANY MORE ILAJES ON THE LIST CLAIMED TO BE AKOKOS. That’s too bad.
5. All the people that were employed in Irele LG and Ikale land by Hon. Abayomi Sheba when he was Chairman Federal Character, are claimed to be from AKOKO.
BTO’s uprightness and outstanding achievements are very traceable to his long time loyalty and selfless services to elder statesmen that reward opulently with megabucks.
Therefore It’s indeed ludicrous to attach his entire attainments wholly with NDDC.
It’s very wise of our leaders and youths to be praying for BTO and Hon. Donald Ojogo as they work together and do things in common in order to bring more dividends of democracy to the constituents instead of beating off skins of a crocodile. We must shun any mission of outsiders who intended to cause commotion between Hon. Donald Ojogo and Bunmi Tunji-Ojo even Ilaje leaders. The combination of BTO and Ojogo will definitely provide flying colors representations and protect the interest of the people of Ilaje, Ese-Odo and Ondo State at large, at the green chamber.
