Christ the Light Gospel Church holds 5th year anniversary as Niyi Majofodun ordained Pastor
On Sunday, 5th May, 2024, was full of inspirational programmes as Christ the Light Gospel Church (CLGC), celebrated her 5th year anniversary at the church auditorium in Ijoka, Akure, Ondo State.
At the anniversary, Comrade Niyi Majofodun was ordained as Pastor.
Others who were ordained include (Mrs.) Julius Deborah (Mummy GO) as Evangelist; Oyeyemi Oyebanji Rufus as Pastor; Olatimehin Wumi as Deaconess and Olorunsola Bola Anike as Deaconess.
The General Overseer of Christ the Light Gospel Church (CLGC), Pastor Julius Ade Akomolede, congratulated all the ordained ministers, prayed that God Almighty would grant them the wisdom and grace to excel in their new positions, noted that the 5th year anniversary is significant spiritually, considering the combination of day and month of the celebration – 5/5 in year 2024 which is full of grace, mercy and favour of God.
According to Pastor Akomolede, “the newly ordained ministers are expected to help the pastoral work in quest to move the church forward to greater heights of glory.
Present at the anniversary were reputable and anointed men of God from far and wide.
Pastor Niyi Majofodun on behalf of the newly ordained ministers, appreciated God for His grace upon them. He also appreciated the General Overseer of Christ the Light Gospel Church for counting them worthy of the prestigious positions while attributing the positions to God’s purpose for their lives.
He said, “Personally, I want to thank God for His grace upon my life for taking me out darkness to light.
“I thank God that militancy did not ruin my life before I got born again. I am very happy that an ex-militant has turned a Pastor today”. Majofodun said.
He then prayed for more anoiting in the course of his pastoral job, prayed for journey mercies for all the attendees to their respective destinations.
