Coastal Renaissance News Publisher, Taiwo Gbamila pays a courtesy visit to Ondo NURTW Boss, Ademola Odudu
_…vows to instill operation ‘chop make I chop’ in the mind of the union’s branch chairmen across the state_
The Publisher of Coastal Renaissance News, Pastor Taiwo Ilesanmi Gbamila and his team, yesterday paid a courtesy visit to Comrade Ademola Odudu, Chairman, National Union of Road and Transport Workers in Ondo State in his office at Igoba, Akure, Ondo State.
Pastor Omoniyi Majofodun, Mr. Raji Muza a.k.a. Paso and Mr. Ebenezer Adeeko were in company of the Publisher to the Ondo State Chairman of the NURTW.
The meeting also had in attendance Alhaji Suleiman Adebayo, General Secretary and Comrade Ogunmuyiwa Ogedegbe, Assistant General Secretary of the union in Ondo State.
Earlier before the meeting, the team paid a courtesy call to the office of the Deputy Chairman and Treasurer, Comrade Ademola Ezekiel and Comrade Omoniyi Oni Eniba respectively.
In his remark, the Publisher of Coastal Renaissance News, Pastor Taiwo Gbamila, specially acknowledged and commended Comrade Ademola Odudu for his outstanding support for Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa and charged him to do more at the upcoming governorship election on November 16.
He assured the union officials of a cordial working relationship between his office and the NURTW, he added that the Coastal Renaissance News and NURTW are partner in progress for a long time since the assumption of the Odudu-led administration and promised that the existing relationship will continue for the sake of propagating the activities of the union.
The NURTW boss in Ondo State, Comrade Ademola Odudu while reacting, appreciated the Publisher of Coastal Renaissance News and his team for the visit, assured him that the union would continue to consult him in showcasing the activities of the union.
The NURTW boss while speaking, reiterated the union’s total commitment to Governor Aiyedatiwa-led administration.
Comrade Odudu noted that since he became the NURTW chairman in Ondo State, he has be working on rebranding the union, planning to organise different seminars and programmes to properly enlighten it’s members on effective transportation.
He informed the Publisher of Coastal Renaissance News that his members are now well behaved, compared to previous years and promised to instill operation ‘chop make I chop’ in the mind of all the branch and unit chairmen across the state so that every member can conveniently take care of his immediate family.
“We need to put fear of God in anything we do. We need to be considerate and have human feelings.
“How can a branch or unit chairman carry priority for 6 days without considering other members who have not carried one set for the past two weeks. If a branch or unit chairman has 6 priorities in a week, at least 2 out of the 6 should be given to members who have not be privileged to carry passengers for the past one week. That’s my normal way of life. When you chop, it is save for you to also allow others to chop. Comrade Odudu said.
