“By voting for Sanwo-Olu, Ondo State will experience rapid development, moving from mono-economy to multi-dimensional driven state if Araromi – Lekki road is constructed. Prince Enigbokan said.
He then urged Ilaje and Ondo State people living in Lagos to unite and continue to push hard for the development of Ondo and Lagos states.
“I acknowledge different interest of political parties but we must always remember Ondo State as our origin. I know that we all have different views politically, which also is the beauty of true democracy but voting for Sanwo-Olu will attract rapid development to Ilaje and Ondo State in general”..
“The development of Ilaje and Ondo State is my major concern, I have no relationship with Governor Sanwo-Olu but I remain committed to accelerating that development in view and pushing forward towards being the 21st-century economy for which we all pray.”
Sanwo-Olu is seeking a second term in the office in the coming March 11 governorship election. And, the appeal of Prince Enigbokan to Ilaje and Ondo State people living in Lagos follows the results of the February 25 presidential election where ruling party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) lost the state to the opposition Labour Party (LP).
The LP won the state after the votes were counted from all the 20 LGAs, and, it was the first time an opposition party would win the state which has remained the stronghold of Bola Tinubu – a former Governor and Nigeria’s president-elect.
“For me, Ondo and Lagos states must work hand in hand and build a synergy that will bring forth rapid development to both states”.
