The Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ilaje Local Government Area of Ondo State, Hon. Omoyele Awolowo Ayo, popularly known as Lysender, has secured two strategic positions within days of declaring his loyalty to Interior Minister, Hon. Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo BTO and Senior High Chief Idowu Gbemijoye Asonja.

Lysender’s new positions include his role as Chief Press Secretary (CPS) of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited (TSSNL), Ondo State Chapter, and his emergence as a National Executive of the Niger Delta Youth Movement (NDYM).

His emergence into the NDYM national leadership has drawn commendation from Chief Asonja, the Coordinator of TSSNL in Ondo State, who described the development as a recognition of Lysender’s commitment to public service, grassroots mobilisation and youth development.
In a congratulatory message issued on 13th October, 2026, through the Office of the Principal Private Secretary, Chief Asonja expressed confidence that Lysender’s new position would provide a platform to contribute meaningfully to the advancement of the Niger Delta.
He noted that the appointment presents an opportunity for the Ilaje-born political figure to promote unity, peacebuilding, youth empowerment and sustainable development across the oil-rich region.
Chief Asonja urged Lysender to embrace integrity, humility, inclusiveness and purposeful leadership in the discharge of his responsibilities, stressing the importance of creating opportunities for young people through employment, entrepreneurship, education and active participation in decision-making.
He further expressed optimism that Lysender’s contributions to the NDYM national leadership would strengthen youth engagement and support the broader development aspirations of the Niger Delta and Nigeria.
Chief Asonja wished him a successful and impactful tenure, expressing confidence in his ability to justify the trust reposed in him.
According to him, “Lysender’s dual roles in party administration and security-sector communication, alongside his new position in the NDYM national leadership, place him at the intersection of grassroots politics, regional youth engagement and public communication in Ondo State.”
“His latest emergence is expected to provide further opportunities to contribute to youth mobilisation, community engagement and development initiatives across Ilaje, Ondo State and the wider Niger Delta region.”
