The Managing Director, Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, Chief Dr. Samuel Ogbuku and his team, just yesterday, Friday 9th June, 2023 visited the Pere of Gbaramatu kingdom, HRM Oboro-Gbaraun II, Aketekpe, Agadagba in his palace, Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State.
The Managing Director was accompanied by the NDDC Executive Director Project, Mr. Charles Ogunmola.
Others who accompanied the NDDC Managing Director were top management of the commission and the Ondo State Coordinator of the Tantita Security Services Nig. Ltd., Senior High Chief Idowu Asonja.
The team also invited Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo a.k.a. Tompolo, a former Nigerian militant commander of the Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta.
The visit was purposely to reassure the monarch and people of Niger Delta Region the commission’s readiness to complete all the abandoned projects in the region by the NDDC.
The NDDC Managing Director promised that more abandoned projects of the commission across the Niger Delta Region will be completed and commissioned during their tenure.

Tompolo for appointing Idowu Asonja, a man of impregnable integrity and ingenuity as Ondo State Coordinator of Tantita Security Services Nig. Ltd., assured Tompolo of Asonja’s loyalty and effective service delivery.
Senior High Chief Asonja while speaking with Coastal Renaissance thanked the NDDC Managing Director, Chief Dr. Samuel Ogbuku for his proactive leadership and applauded his decision to complete all the abandoned projects in the Niger Delta Region. He specially thanked the NDDC Executive Director Project, Mr. Charles Ogunmola for his exceptional love and determination to promote the activities of the youths in the Niger Delta Region. He then pledged the total support of the Niger Delta Youths for the Ogbuku-led administration of the NDDC.
He finally thanked General Managing Director (GMD) Operation of the Tantita Security Services Nig. Ltd, Godfrey Tare Pondi (Don Dibia) for proper coordination of the venue and environment while receiving the NDDC Managing Director and his team by Tompolo. He noted that Tompolo’s security services have brought about progressive development to the Niger Delta Region and Nigeria at large and as well increase the economic growth of the country.
