Nigerians are now sitting on edge in anticipation to attend the burial of Chief J.S. Makinde, the father in-law of Prince Poroye Biyi Bill, Executive Director, Alpha 3D, Ondo State.
A close family source said
there are underground moves by Prince Poroye to give his late father in-law a superlative and befitting burial on 30th and 31st May, 2024 in Offa, Kwara State as plans have reached and advanced
stage.
The source informed Coastal Renaissance News that the Governor of Ondo State, His Excellency, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, Minister of Interior, Hon. Bunmi Tunji-Ojo (BTO) and other prominent leaders who have been invited as Special Guests of Honour by Prince Poroye, may likely honour him considering his closeness to them.
Chief J.S. Makinde, a community leader and former Deputy Provost, Oro College of Education, Kwara State, died on 21st March, 2024 after a brief illness. He was 78 years old.
The burial arrangements are scheduled as follow:
Thursday, 30th May, 2024: Christian Wake @ Iyeru Okin African Church Hall, Offa, Kwara State by 3pm
Friday, 31st May, 2024: Funeral Service @ Iyeru Okin African Church, Offa, Kwara State by 11am.
Reception ceremony follows immediately @ Odu Hall, Offa, Kwara State.
