Governor Rotimi Akeredolu is still alive but illegal attempt of impeachment by the State House of Assembly allegedly orchestrated by Mr. Dare Aragbaye, Special Adviser to Governor Akeredolu on Special Duties and Union Matters, the Director-General of the State’s Performance and Project Implementation Monitoring Unit (PPIMU), Babajide Akeredolu and some desperate governorship aspirants from Ondo South, has not only disrupted the peace of Ondo State but also injected serious tension in the lives and properties of the citizenry.
The allegedly plan of Dare Aragbaye, Babajide Akeredolu and other desperate governorship aspirants from Ondo South trying to sponsor a Speaker who has just been elected through their cronies to purposely execute the impeachment plan of the Ondo State Deputy Governor, His Excellency, Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa where the Speaker will be consequently become the Acting Governor of Ondo State having read in the pages of newspapers that the Governor is lying sick in the hospital. This act is not only condemnable by the good people of Ondo State but also abominable.
Coastal Renaissance learnt that the plan allegedly orchestrated by the SSA to the Ondo State Governor on Special Duties and Union Matters, Mr. Dare Aragbaye, Babajide Akeredolu and their cohorts early today, Friday 2nd June, 2023 culminated to the decision of the Deputy Governor to contact the Ondo State Commissioner of Police to close down the State House of Assembly.
The good people of Ondo State urged Nigeria President, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, APC National Chairman, Abdullahi Adamu and the Inspector General of Police to call Dare Aragbaye, Babajide Akeredolu and their cohorts to order to renege their negative actions in disrupting the peace of the good people of Ondo State. Ondo State people also condemned the illegal and devilish desperation allegedly taken by Dare Aragbaye, Babajide Akeredolu and their cohorts, urging them to look for means of organising special prayer for the quick recovery of Governor Akeredolu instead of embarking on unconstitutional, illegal, unachievable and devilish plan to impeach the Deputy Governor.
“The peace and tranquility of Ondo State people is our priority, we must all rise to protect the dignity Ondo State is generally acknowledged to possess, we must not allow these self centered people to put the state in state of confusion and put the lives and properties of Ondo State people in serious danger.
