Ilaje Constitiency 2 House of Assembly: An imperial Prince of Mahin Kingdom, Lawson Akintokun obtains expression of interest & nomination forms of the APC
An imperial Prince of Mahin Kingdom, Barr. Lawson Akintokun, has obtained expression of interest & nomination forms of the APC to contest the Ondo State House of Assembly to represent Ilaje Constitiency 2 in the forthcoming primary election.
Barr. Lawson Akintokun, a seasoned administrator, a man of honour, wisdom, meekness and humility, was embraced by all Ilaje elders and leaders having obtained his expression of interest and nomination forms. It is on record that as an Imperial Prince of Mahin Kingdom, his aspiration has been generally embraced by all and sundry especially when the zoning arrangement favours his ward.
In Ilaje politics, Lawson Akintokun has made a good mark and carved a niche for himself as a lawyer. He has indeed proven his mettle as a quintessential administrator per excellence and an excellent manager of men, women and youths, especially in Ilaje land.
Reflection of Barr. Lawson Akintokun (LAAK)
Barr Lawson Akintokun fondly called LAAK is an Imperial Prince of Mahin Kingdom, born over five decades ago at Ode-Mahin to the Royal family of Aganganjigan Omobuwa Ruling House. He attended Local Authority Primary School, Ode-Mahin, Ilaje Local Government area of Ondo State. At Local Authority Primary School, he was the most brilliant and outstanding student in the school, loved by all the teachers because of his neatness, humility and excellent performance.
For the purpose of advancement, he went further to Mahin Community High School, C&S Academy Ugbonla, Ilaje High School Igbokoda and Happy City College Ayetoro all in Ilaje Local Government Area of Ondo State between 1976 and 1989.
In his quest for higher education, he proceeded to Federal polytechnic, Offa, Kwara State between 1995 and 2002 where he obtained National Diploma (ND) in Business Administration and Higher National Diploma (HND) in Marketing.
In order to hone his swills in this vocation, he enrolled for, and later bagged, a Post-Graduate Diploma (PGDPA) in Public Administration from the University of Benin, Benin City in 2006. Also, he obtained Masters in Public Administration (M.PA) from Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko in 2008.
In 2013, he proceeded to study Law at the prestigious Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko, where he bagged his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) in 2017 and the Nigerian Law School Abuja in 2018 for his Barrister at Law (B.L). Currently, he is a Master of Laws (LL.M) candidate at Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko.
He has worked in both private and public sectors successfully.
He is an active member of Nigerian Bar Association and Institute of Chattered Mediator and Conciliator of Nigeria.
He is presently aspiring for member Ondo State House of Assembly to represent the good people of Ilaje Constituency 2 as a result of the pressure mounted on him by the constituents.
He is happily married and blessed with children.
