Ilaje/Ese-Odo 2023: PDP leaders grumble, plan to boycott campaign visit to palace as Amapetu of Mahin land, Oba Akinyomi issues authoritative prayer for Donald Ojogo

The Amapetu of Mahin Kingdom and paramount ruler of Mahin land, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Oluwasegun Akinyomi, all Obas in Mahin Land, High Chiefs, Baales and the entire people of Mahin kingdom, have received the APC Candidate for Ilaje/Ese-Odo Federal Constituency, Hon. Donald Ojogo yesterday at the palace of Amapetu at Ode-Mahin, Ilaje Local Government area of Ondo State.
Speaking on behalf of the APC, Chief Olusola Oke, SAN who is an illustrious son of Ilaje, thanked the monarch and the people of Mahin Kingdom for the hospitable environment. He analysed and enumerated various reasons why APC must win all elective positions come 25th February, 2023, stressing that 2024 Governor is more important to Ilaje than 2023 House of Representatives.
Whilst presenting the APC candidate for Reps, Hon. Donald Ojogo to the King and Mahin people, Chief Oke said, “it is the unanimous decision of Ilaje stakeholders regardless of any political party you belong to cede the position of MHR to Arogbo in the interest of fairness, justice and equity”. He reiterated that Ilaje/Ese-Odo as a Federal Constituency has experienced insignificant development in the last 10 years just because our incumbent representative is in the opposition.
He assured that Donald Ojogo will take advantage of membership of the APC to bring Human Capacity Development and infrastructural growth to the constituency.
In his response, His Imperial Majesty Oba Segun Akinyomi, assured that the votes of Mahin Kingdom will go all the way for APC. He prayed for the preservation of life of Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu and victory for the APC and Donald Ojogo come 25th February, 2023.
