LAGOS LG CHAIRMANSHIP ELECTION: OLADIPUPO OKEYOMI (CARRY-GO) RECEIVES BLESSINGS OF TOP LEADERS
Top leaders of the Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ojokoro LCDA, have declared support for the Chairmanship aspirant, Dr. Oladipupo Okeyomi.
The leaders made the declaration after a closed-door meeting held recently in the Local Council Development Area.
Coastal Renaissance online news gathered that top leaders are pleased with the aspiration of Dr. Oladipupo Okeyomi (Carry-Go) because they have keened into his new agenda for the party and also aligned with his innovative ideas of empowering the party members.
The source declared that Ojokoro is set to elect a LCDA Chairman who knows the history of the party and the council, a man who can build, a man who can sacrifice, a man who has passion for the development of the masses and alsp the interest of the party members at heart; not a self-centered person, but a personality that can proffer immediate and possible solution to the challenges and disputes among members and pave way for unity and progress of the party and party members.
“Dr. Okeyomi knows the pathway and we are ready to give him the mandate without any further ado”, the source added.
The source then appealed to other aspirants from the APC to step down for Dr. Oladipupo Okeyomi as they know quite well that the man has a deep experience and capacity required to lead the LCDA to victory in the 2021 Chairmanship election.
The source further confirmed that all notable leaders in the party are in full supports of Oladipupo Okeyomi’s ambition.
In his statement, Dr. Okeyomi promised to transform the council if the leaders give him the opportunity to serve. He said, his vision is to reposition the party and dwell richly on empowerment and employment of the party members in such a manner that will project the image of the party in the LCDA.
