Mahintedo Community obtains favour of Akeredolu-led administration as Aiyedatiwa assures quick granting of Staff of Office to the ONITEDO of Mahintedo Kingdom, Oba Seth Olatunji Fayemi
Mahintedo Community in Ilaje Local Government area of Ondo State has obtained favour of Governor Akeredolu-led administration as the Deputy Governor, His Excellency, Hon Lucky Aiyedatiwa has assured the people of the community quick granting of Staff of Office to the ONITEDO of Mahintedo Kingdom, Oba Seth Olatunji Fayemi.
This assurance was given yesterday Tuesday 28th September, 2021 by the Deputy Governor in his Alagbaka office, Akure when the delegation of the community paid him a courtesy visit.
Over six years ago, Oba Seth Olatunji Fayemi, Oba-Elect had gotten the blessings and express approval of the then Amapetu of Mahin Land, HIM Oba Lawrence Omowole. Unfortunately, the Ondo State Government under the leadership of Dr. Olusegun Mimiko did not present Staff of Office the the Oba-Elect.
Just yesterday, 28th September, 2021, the community sent a delegation to meet with the Deputy Governor of Ondo State, His Excellency, Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa, stressing the need why Akeredolu-led government should tamper mercy and give Staff of Office to the Oba-Elect of Mahintedo Kingdom.
In his reaction, the Ondo State Deputy Governor on behalf of the Governor gave 100% assurance and promised to look into the matter as a matter of urgency having scrutinizing all the documents and found them satisfactory. He further gave immediate directive to the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy to commence processing of the file.
Members of the Mahintedo delegation to the Deputy Governor include: Oba Seth Olatunji Fayemi, the Onitedo Elect, Venerable F.O Olowofoyeku, Hon. Nimbe Tawose, Prince Poroye Biyi and Hon. Taiwo Gbamila.
Venerable F.O. Olowofoyeku on behalf of the community thanked the Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu for his developmental projects in the state and appreciated the Deputy Governor, Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa for his loyalty and sincerity of purpose to his boss. He prayed for more wisdom for him as he equally pledged the total support for the APC administration in the state.
