MATO pays a condolence visit to Akeredolu’s family in Ibadan, says Akeredolu has gone, but never far from our hearts

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Ondo State, Mr. Mathew Oyerinmade popularly called and addressed as MATO, has paid a condolence visit to the family of the late Governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN, CON in his residence in Ibadan, Oyo State on Wednesday, 10th January, 2024.
Mr. Mathew Oyerinmade who was accompanied by his friends and some of his team members, visited the wife of the late Governor, Mrs. Betty Akeredolu and his family to condole with them.
Mr. Oyerinmade while consoling the the family members, especially the wife of the late Governor, stressed that Governor Akeredolu had gone but never far from the people’s hearts for his enormous contributions and positive impact to Ondo State, South West and Nigeria at large.
Mr. Oyerinmade while addressing the family members acknowledged late Governor Akeredolu’s doggedness, dedication, boldness and courage of lion in fighting for whatever he believed in, hailed
the late governor’s purposeful life of ‘talk and do’ spirit he imbibed while alive.
In his tribute, MATO said, “Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu is now in the Land Above, rejoicing with the saints triumphant. Of a truth, good men must die, but death cannot kill their names. For, as they say again, the only truly dead are those who have been forgotten but Akeredolu can never be forgotten, will never be forgotten”
