NDDC Is Keen Into The Renewed Hope Agenda Of Tinubu-led Administration – Ondo NDDC Commissioner, Otito Atikase
_…says Ondo State will experience tremendous achievements of developmental projects throughout his tenure in office_
Hon Thompson Atikase Otito, the Commissioner representing Ondo State on the board of the Niger Delta Development Commission ,NDDC has said that the priority of the commission is to key into the Renewed Hope Agenda of the Tinubu-led administration.
He said this recently in Akure the Ondo State capital while addressing Newsmen.
According to the Commissioner, ” we are not going to leave any stone unturned in ensuring that the Renewed Hope Agenda of the Federal Government is fully implemented at the level of the Commission.” Adding that the NDDC was created by President Olusegun Obasanjo in 2001 as an interventionist agency for the purpose of renewing the hope of the Niger Deltans by transforming the oil rich region which is the economy mainstay of the Nigerian nation.
Atikase, stated that the people of the Niger Delta area of Ondo State this time around would feel the impact of the NDDC more than ever before, he added that the Commission was prepared to go into aggressive implementation of laudable projects across the Niger Delta region and completion of abandoned projects. The Commissioner promised to engage all stake holders in the area to ensure that we get everything that is due for us as far as NDDC is concerned. “I have with me the list of all projects that are abandoned by previous administration and I will ensure that all of them are completed within the shortest time possible” he stated.
The Commissioner who resumed office recently at the Ondo State office of the NDDC at Igbokoda, while addressing the members of staff said that it was not going to be business as usual for unserious
workers. According to him, whoever that is not ready to work would be shown the exit door.
In a related development, he appealed to the people of the oil producing areas to be patient with the Tinubu-led administration , adding that very soon everything would be fine.
