OGUNLANA CONDEMNS ILLEGAL DETENTION OF SUNDAY BARUWA, VOWS TO OBTAIN JUSTICE IN COURT OF LAW

A former employee of mountain of fire and miracles ministry, Sunday Baruwa Olowoeye who was wrongfully disengaged from work and subsequently arrested and destined for over 16 days by the police at the request of the general overseer of MFM, Dr D. K Olukoya has bowed to seek redress from the court of law.
Addressing journalists in Lagos state, nigeria, Barrister Adesina Ogunlana condoned the detention of Sunday Baruwa from May 28, 2021 to June 13, 2021 at Alagbon police station, Ikoyi Lagos was a gross breach of right and contrary to sections 35 and 36 of the 1999 constitution of the federal republic of Nigeria as amended.
Narrating his ordeal, Sunday Baruwa Olowoeye said he after he was dismissed without reason from the service of the church and arrested by the police and was promised to pay him N10 million as restitution which was later reneged by the church and he was paid N800,000.
Meanwhile, in another development, the Nigeria police force has been charged to make public the result of the autopsy carried out on Amos Dogo who died at church in Ajah area of Lagos while carrying out his duty as a plumber who specialized in soakaway clearance.
According to the head of of the legal team for the diseased, Adesina Ogunlana, the result of the autopsy is clearly different from the initial claim by the church that Dogo had drowned when he fell into the sewage he was attempting to clear.
According to Barrister Ogunlana, the autopsy showed that the deceased had an injury in the back of his neck which means an hard object was used to hit his neck from the rear.
Ogunlana said all legal moves shall be adopted to ensure Amos Dogo gets justice and that the cause of his death is not swept under the carpet.
