Ondo Federal lawmaker, Donald Ojogo delivers solar power lights, 1 trailer-load of rice to constituents

Member House of Representatives representing Ilaje/Ese-odo federal constituency, Hon. Donald Kimikanboh Ojogo, has recently delivered 1 trailer-load of rice to the people of his constituency for the new year celebration. He also delivered 30 solar powered street lights which he promised to bring in thousands soon.
However, the federal lawmaker who has postponed the grandfinale programme, specially organised for Ilaje Local government after the sudden death of his younger sister, Mrs. Eunice Ebiagbin Yeiyah (Nee Ojogo), stressed that Ilaje people played outstanding role in his election victory and that he has vowed to celebrate them specially for their positive minds towards him.
In partial fulfilment of his campaign promises, it would be recalled that Hon. Donald Ojogo distributed relief materials and palliatives to the People of Ilaje/Ese-Odo Federal Constituency being the 1st phase of the welfare package which was facilitated through NEMA and distributed on 24th December, 2023 and consisted of various food items, household essentials, clothing, and building materials, as outlined below:
Food Items:
– 400 bags of 10kg Rice
– 400 bags of 10kg Beans
– 400 bags of 10kg Garri
– 30 kegs of Vegetable oil (20kg each)
– 40 cartons of seasoning
– 100 cartons of noodles
– 30 cartons of tin tomatoes
Household Essentials:
– 200 pieces of mattresses
– 200 pieces of blankets
– 200 mosquito nets
– 500 pieces of nylon mats
Clothing:
– 200 pieces of guinea brocades
– 200 pieces of children’s wear
– 200 pieces of men’s wear
– 200 pieces of women’s wear
Building Materials:
– 100 bags of cement
– 100 bundles of roofing sheets.
The distribution site at Agadagba-Obon accommodated the combined APC party structure of Ilaje and Ese-Odo Local Governments at Agadagba-obon. The 22 Ward Chairmen received for their respective wards while the APC LG chairmen received on behalf of the party leaders and other stakeholders.
The flag-off for the second phase of the distribution was done on 2nd January, 2024 at Agadagba-Obon in Ese-Odo Local Government.
This phase covered the distribution of 600 bags of 50kg rice to the people of Ese-Odo LGA.
Ugbo, Mahin/Aheri/ Etikan, Apoi and Arogbo Youths Chairmen which were received on behalf of their respective youth councils.
Following the sudden death of his younger sister, Hon. Donald Ojogo was represented at the solemn programme by his Senior Legislative Aide (SLA), Hon. Oyebo Aladetan who informed recipients of the welfare packages to distribute efficiently and without political sentiment. The target of the second phase included Traditional Rulers, religious leaders and youth groups devoid of political and partisan consideration.
Also, 30 pieces of solar powered street light were received and will be distributed after due consultation.
He made special appeal to Ilaje people as he promised to announce the new date for the grandfinale after the burial of his late sister.
“The new date for the grandfinale shall be announced soon which will be done at the federal constituency headquarters in Igbokoda, Ilaje Local Government area of Ondo State. This is specifically for the people of Ilaje Local Government.
“We anticipate that this initiative will continue to positively impact the lives of the people in the constituency. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s dedication to the welfare and well-being of the people serves as an exemplar of responsible and responsive leadership, Donald Ojogo said.
