Ondo Guber election: APC chieftain, Prince Poroye Biyi congratulates Aiyedatiwa, describes his victory as triumph of democracy
A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Executive Director, Alpha 3D in Ondo State, Prince Poroye Biyi Bill, has congratulated the governor of Ondo State, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, describing his massive victory as triumph of democracy, urging him to harness the state’s vast human and natural resources for its transformation.
In a congratulatory message made available to journalists in Akure, Prince Poroye described Aiyedatiwa as a divine leader, chosen to bring prosperity to the people of Ondo State.
The message, in part, reads: “Your Excellency, it is with great respect and admiration that I extend my heartfelt congratulations to you on your well-deserved victory.
Your advocacy for national unity, good governance, transparency and accountability coupled with humility, calmness, Godliness, commitment to justice, equity, and fairness, and most especially your love for the common man, are the sources of your huge success at the governorship election. And, the massive score of 18:0 local governments will never attract eraser in the history of Ondo State being the first of its kind.
“Moving closely with you overtimes, I have learned the value of silence and calmness in tough moments, even when provoked. You remained focused, cool, calm, and collected throughout the journey. Despite attempts to demarket you, you remained composed.
“Your Excellency, you are a God-sent leader, ordained by God and chosen by the people of Ondo to lead them into a prosperous future.
“I take this moment to urge you to form an all-inclusive government that unites all Ondo people. Engage talents from the APC, PDP, LP, other political parties, technocrats, and the broader Ondo community, both home and abroad, to help reconstruct a prosperous Ondo.
“Ondo State is blessed with both natural and human resources. We have oil, iron, farm produce, bitumen, granites, and solid minerals, yet we lack adequate roads and industries.
“Ondo State is hugely blessed with great men and women, both young and old, who are excelling worldwide. Unite these talents and utilize them to fulfill your vision of building a secure Ondo, where every citizen has the opportunity to achieve their dreams and contribute to our collective good, societal development, and nation-building.
“Your Excellency, may your leadership bring glory to the Kingdom of God and prosperity to Ondo State and Nigeria at large.
