A group – Ondo Liberation Initiative, Ilaje Local Government chapter, has congratulated Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and his deputy, Dr. Olayide Adelami, on their election victory as the Governor-elect and Deputy Governor-elect of Ondo state on the last November 16 governorship election in the state.

In the group’s congratulatory message signed by the chapter Chairman, Omo’ba Omowole Benjamin Oluwagheyinmi, expressed confidence in the leadership ability of Governor Aiyedatiwa to lead Ondo State into a new era of development and unity.
According to the group slogan, “Jara E Gba,” encapsulated the hopes and liberation of the people, including young and old, christians and muslims.
“Your Excellency, having studied your activities keenly in the last 11 months as Governor of Ondo State, we trust that you will work tirelessly to fulfill the promises you made during your campaign. Your developmental mindset and commitment to progress give us confidence that you will make a significant difference in the lives of the good people of the sunshine state,”
The group Chairman appealed to the governor-elect to consider OLI members across the state who stood firmly with him through thick and thin and also worked tirelessly for him emergence.
The group leader in Ilaje Local Government, Omo’ba Omowole Oluwagheyinmi, pledged the group’s continued support, both spiritually and through policy contributions, to ensure the state’s development under Aiyedatiwa’s leadership.
Omo’ba Omowole also urged the Governor-elect to lead an inclusive government that welcomes diverse opinions and perspectives, as fostering unity and inclusivity will be vital in building a prosperous and united Ondo State.
He advised Governor Aiyedatiwa to assemble a team of politicians and technocrats who possess integrity, experience, and a passion for service, ensuring that his administration is guided by expertise and dedication in pursuing his vision of a New Ondo State.
He further appealed to the Governor-elect to prioritize the completion of ongoing developmental projects initiated by his late boss, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN for posterity sake.
