ONDO REPS MEMBER, BUNMI TUNJI-OJO DESCRIBES THE DEMISE OF PROPHET T.B JOSHUA, AS SHOCKING, PAINFUL & A MONUMENTAL LOSS TO AKOKO LAND, ONDO STATE & NIGERIA AT LARGE
A member House of Representatives representing Akoko North East/Akoko North West Federal Constituency, Hon. Bunmi Tunji-Ojo, has described the demise of Prophet T.B. Joshua, the founder of Synagogue Church, as shocking, painful and a monumental loss to Akoko land, Ondo State, Nigerians and the Joshua’s families.
Prophet T.B. Joshua, who died in the early hours of Saturday 5th June, 2021.
Tunji-Ojo, in a statement made available to Coastal Renaissance online news condoled with the families, Akoko and Ondo State people on his demise.
According to Tunji-Ojo: ‘‘I received the sad news of the demise of Prophet T.B Joshua, a renowned Prophet of God, a Teacher and Fisher of men, a deeply committed and patriotic citizen, who contributed remarkably to the development of the needy.
He said, “As human beings, the demise of the great prophet of God will be painful and devastating, but we must always look back at the beautiful moments and legacies the prophet left behind by helping both the poor and rich people. Therefore, his families, Akoko and Ondo State people should find comfort in the good works done by the late Prophet.”
Tunji-Ojo said the immediate community and Ondo State at large would remember the deceased for many years to come.
The federal lawmaker prayed to Almighty God to grant the soul of late Prophet T.B. Joshua eternal rest and the family the grace to bear the irreparable loss.
