In furtherance of keeping faith with the mandate of bringing smiles into the faces of the less privilege people of Ondo State, the MATO MANDATE GROUP ( MMG), has kicked off the free fuel subsidy palliative to Okada operators in all the 18 local government areas of Ondo state today.
While kicking off the free fuel palliative support program in Ifon in Ose LG of Ondo State, the leader of the group,Hon Mathew Oyerinmade ( Mato) represented by one of the leaders of the group, Surv Niran Akinniyi said that the aim of the MMG is to help the good people of Ondo State in diverse ways.
In his words, he said, “Hon Mathew Oyerinmade is a philanthropist who is committed to the wellbeing of Ondo State people and he is ready to continue to put smiles in their faces through his numerous palliative programs to cushion the effects of the economic hardship on the people and this is just the beginning of the many intervention programs that kicks off today.
In his remarks, the Director of Media and Publicity of the group, Hon Segun Odidi said, this is the first phase of the free fuel palliative program that will cover the 18 local government areas of Ondo State. He said that not less than 50- 100 okada operators from each of the 18 LGs will benefit from this largesse from the kind hearted Hon Mathew Oyerinmade and his group MATO MANDATE GROUP ( MMG).
” This is just the beginning of our deliberate efforts in putting smiles to the faces of our people in Ondo State, this free fuel palliative will run through the 18 local government areas of the state starting from Ose, Owo and Akoko southwest local government areas today and from tomorrow, other local governments will benefit from this laudable initiatives of MMG and it’s grand finale will take place in Akure on Monday 29th of Jan 2024.
Other leaders of the group who spoke at the event includes Hon Akin Akinbobola, Hon Kunle Oyegoke (Bishop) who lauds the wonderful initiative of MMG and encourage the people to continue to maintain peace in the society and also to continue to join hands with the Government of Ondo State so that jointly we can move our State to the next level.
While responding at the event, the okada operators in unison through one of their leader, Ayotunde Ologundudu thanked the initiator of the free fuel palliative and promised that with the free fuel given to them, they too will reduce their charges on their customers so that everyone will enjoy the benefits of MMG palliative supports.
