Ondo State Local Government Loans Board organises ‘Pen Down’ ceremony for a retired Permanent Secretary, Segun Omojuwa

The Ondo State Local Government Loans Board, has held a ‘Pen Down’ ceremony for a Permanent Secretary, Prince Segun Omojuwa who served the Ondo State government meritoriously and retired statutorily in March 2023 after attaining the mandatory age of 60 years and spending 35 years in service.
Speaking at the ceremony held yesterday, 3rd March, 2023 at the Commission’s Secretariat in Alagbaka, Akure, Ondo State, the Head of Service, Pastor Olaniyi Ogundele, stated that the Segun Omojuwa contributed diligently to the growth and advancement of Ondo State, adding that it is an accomplishment that should not be taken for granted.
He then implored Prince Segun Omojuwa to endeavour to render his service to the State whenever called upon to do so, noting that the State government would continue to look forward to benefiting from his vast experience and reservoirs of knowledge on policy formulation and implementation in order to continue to move Ondo State forward.
“As the newest member of the Association of Ondo State Retired Permanent Secretary, the government would continue to look forward to benefiting from your vast knowledge, especially in policy formulation and implementation, in order to continue to move the State forward”, Ondo Head of Service said.
He also reminded Prince Segun Omojuwa that he now has a better opportunity to deploy his talent, wide knowledge and extensive administrative skill and managerial experience to add value to himself And his immediate community particularly the youths, who are expected to bear the burden of leadership after him.
The Ondo Head of Service expressed appreciation to the new retiree, Prince Segun Omojuwa for his loyalty, commitment, perseverance, dedication and untold sacrifices through the years, while also acknowledging his support and cooperation with him as the Head of Service, saying “Segun Omojuwa vast knowledge made my work easier”.
The Head of Service rejoiced with the retiree and congratulated his families and numerous well-wishers for celebrating him in grand style.
While responding, Prince Segun Omojuwa, the immediate past Permanent Secretary of the Local Government Loans Board, expressed appreciation to God for His mercy upon him throughout his service years. He equally thanked the Governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN, CON, the Deputy Governor, Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa and Ondo State Government for allowing him to serve, just as he advised those still in active service not to look back but ensure they contribute their quota immensely to improve the lot of the State and humanity in general.
