OSOPADEC: Governor Akeredolu commissions renovated building, hails Commission’s Chairman, Erejuwa for donating security patrol vehicles, motorcycles to security operatives in the mandate areas
The Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN, has commissioned the renovated building of the Ondo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission.
The Governor commissioned the renovated building yesterday, Wednesday 7th September, 2022 at the OSOPADEC complex in Akure, the capital city of Ondo State after the Chairman of the Commission, Elder Sam Erejuwa, has completed the renovation of the old building at the OSOPADEC complex which was awarded by his predecessor, Hon. Olugbenga Edema.
The Governor said, Elder Sam Erejuwa is a lucky man who carries the grace of God. He applauded accessibility and competence of the Chairman and also commended his pragmatic leader style. The Governor further assured the people of the mandate areas his total commitment to the rapid growth and development of the oil producing area of the state.
His his address, the Chairman of the Commission, Elder Sam Erejuwa, thanked God Almighty for availing him the opportunity to complete the renovation of the OSOPADEC old building to a modern structure.
According to him, “the building will put an end to the shortage of office in the Commission and enable the staff to work in a conducive environment for an efficient service delivery”.
He further appreciated the Governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu for giving prompt approval for the purchase of security patrol vehicles and motorcycles to the mandate areas for effective service delivery.
He said, the vehicles & motorcycles will enable the security operatives in the mandate areas to curtail the insecurity and criminal acts and challenges that have erupted the riverine areas.
He also appealed to the Governor to do more for the mandate areas.
Immediate past Chairman of the Commission, Barr. Olugbenga Edema appreciated the talk and do Governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Akeredolu and begged him to continue in making the people of the mandate areas to believe in his leadership. He further gave special appreciation the his successor, Elder Sam Erejuwa for keeping faith with Mr. Governor and imbibed the spirit of continuity.

The Secretary of the Commission, Dr. Victor Koledoye while giving vote of thanks, applauded the Governor and his Deputy for their commitment and doggedness in securing the lives and property of the people of Ondo State.
