OSOPADEC, Ugboland Host Communities Development Trust Clinch A Deal For Holistic Development & Green Growth of the mandate areas

The Ondo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (OSOPADEC) and the Ugboland Host Communities Development Trust (UHCDT) have formalized a new partnership aimed at driving sustainable development across Ugbo land communities.

The collaborative meeting, held on Thursday at Sunview Hotel, Akure, focused on joint efforts in project execution, resource alignment, and the establishment of long-term development frameworks for the region.

Participants also discussed strategies to enhance coordination among stakeholders, streamline funding processes, and prioritize projects that will deliver sustainable socioeconomic impact. The session provided an opportunity to review ongoing initiatives and explore innovative approaches to address the developmental needs of the oil-rich communities.
The communiqué from the meeting was jointly signed by the Executive Chairman of OSOPADEC, Prince Biyi Poroye, and the Chairman, Board of Trustees of UHCDT, Sir Benson Obayelu, signaling a renewed commitment to inclusive progress through strategic cooperation.
