The President, Yoruba Obas Forum, HRM Oba Samuel Olumide Adeoye, Edema 1, Molokun of Atijere kingdom has joined multitude of well wishers across the globe to congratulate the newly sworn-in Governor of Ondo State, Hon.Lucky Orimisan Ayedatiwa.
Speaking with newsmen in Akure, the monarch expressed optimism that the new governor’s advent portends giant stands in furthering the development initiative of late Governor Rotimi Akeredolu.
According to him, “I am confident that Ayedatiwa will continue the good work of Akeredolu. He will not allow his legacy to die.”
“It is with deep sense of honour and gratitude that I congratulate the new Governor of Ondo State, H.E. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa on behalf of 130 Crown Obas in Ondo State.
“Ondo State is fortunate to have someone like him as governor, especially now that there is urgent need for concerted effort to douse the political tension enveloping the state in a recent time.
“Following the antecedents of His Excellency, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, we are confident that he has capacity and ability to move the sunshine state out of the woods. His experiences in the public service over the years have equipped him with adequate knowledge to move the state forward in spite of the current challenges.
The President enjoined the good people of Ondo state to join hands with Aiyedatiwa-led administration in the state to deliver more development in all sectors.
“The new governor carries out his responsibilities, I appeal to Ondo citizens to stand firm with his administration and continue to pray for him to succeed in all his goals to develop the sunshine state. Oba Adeoye said.
