An Ondo-based lawyer, Barr. Rotimi Omomuwasa was allegedly beaten to a coma today, Thursday 9th November, 2023, by road safety officers on federal road at Ogbere community in Ondo State.
The lawyer was rushed to a nearby hospital in Ogbere for treatment.
It was gathered that the lawyer’s offence was his attempt to park from the road when he saw heavy track coming who was not ready to stop for the road safety officers.
Meanwhile, in a statement by the lawyer, Rotimi Omomuwasan said he will take up the matter after his total recovery from the shock and injury he sustained to ensure that the officers involved do not go unpunished.
