2023 MHR: Donald Ojogo is the consensus candidate of Apoi people, paramount ruler of Apoiland, Oba Amuseghan insists, says ‘Ese-Odo Lokan’

The Kalasuwe and paramount ruler of Apoiland, His Royal Majesty, Professor (Deacon) Sunday Adedimola Amuseghan, Lawei II, has declared that Donald Ojogo is the consensus candidate of Apoi people in the forthcoming House of Representatives election in Ilaje and Ese-Odo Local Government areas of Ondo State.
The first class monarch made this declaration in his Palace today, Saturday 21th January, 2023 at Oboro-Apoi when Okogun of Apoi land and Commissioner for Commerce, Industry and Cooperative Services, Barrister Akinwunmi Sowore presented Donald Ojogo before the monarch and good people of Apoi ahead of February 25 House of Representatives election.
The monarch while speaking declared that Apoi people have no alternative candidate for Donald Ojogo in the forthcoming House of Representatives election.
He said, “Ilaje/Ese-Odo 2023 MHR, Ese-Odo Lokan”.
He charged leaders of all political parties to support Donald Ojogo on the account and principle of fairness, equity and justice.
He further urged the stakeholders to see the project beyond Donald Ojogo but it should be seen as the collective interest of both Ilaje and Ese-Odo people who believe in justice and equity.
“If Ilaje stakeholders could make a unanimous decision to support Donald Ojogo, Apoi stakeholders cannot do less, we must rally round Donald Ojogo and work hard to ensure absolute victory for him across Apoi land”.
“All the youths and market women must be mobilized and sensitized why they should support fairness, justice and equity”.
In his words, Akogun of Apoi land and Commissioner for Commerce, Industry and Cooperative Services, Akogun (Barr.) Akinwunmi Sowore, appreciated the monarch for his outstanding support for Governor Akeredolu and APC government in and outside Ondo State. He specially thanked Ilaje stakeholders for their recent unanimous decision and press release to support Donald Ojogo for House of Representatives election on the account of fairness, equity and justice.

In his speech, Donald Ojogo thanked Kabiyesi for his fatherly roles in uniting Apoi land to speak with one voice. He also appreciated Ilaje stakeholders for their early press release to support him. He then promised to raise the bar of representation by leveraging on the overwhelming support of both Ilaje and Ese-Odo people in bring development to the federal constituency.
The meeting was well attended by politicians, captains of industry, market women, public workers, youth and other eminent personalities from all walks of Ese-Odo land.
