2024: ONDO PROGRESSIVE STAKEHOLDERS ADOPT GOVERNOR AIYEDATIWA AS CONSENSUS CANDIDATE AHEAD OF PARTY’S PRIMARY
At the bi-monthly meeting of the progressive stakeholders held on the 15th February in Akure, the group unanimously adopted Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa as their preferred choice among the aspirants who have indicated interest in contesting the forth coming governorship election in Ondo State.
The decision was taken during the consideration of the report of the committee setup to consider and recommend the best aspirant for the consideration of the group.
The committee, after due consideration of the criteria that had earlier been set by the group, resolved in favour of the incumbent governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa that was supported by the generality of the group.
The group mandated all members to intensify their efforts in mobilising the good people of Ondo State to support Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa and ensure his victory in the primary election as well as the governorship elections.
