Your allegations against Governor Aiyedatiwa are baseless and unfounded, Success Torhukerhijo blasts Ondo House of Reps Caucus
_…says the Reps members have just exposed their idiocies to the whole world_
My attention has been drawn to an open letter purportedly written by the Ondo State Caucus of the House of Representatives to the President, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu wherein they alleged the Governor of Ondo State, His Excellency, Lucky Aiyedatiwa of several baseless and unfounded allegations.
To me, this is not only an affront on the incumbent governor, but it is a calculated attempt to continue to insult the governor and to surreptitiously continue with their failed agenda to dislodge the governor and bring in one of the disgruntled accomplices in their circle to governance through the back door, a plan which has already been thwarted by the Almighty God.
These Lawmakers should stop groaning in their ignorance. They must know that against their evil plots, His Excellency, Lucky Ayedatiwa has emerged as the leader of the APC in Ondo state by reason of his present position as the Governor, and the earlier they recognize this fact, the better for them.
The allegation that the Governor is showing animosity to his late boss and his lack of concern for the party`s growth in the state is not only laughable but goes a long way to expose them as Lawmakers that are apparently disconnected from the people at the grassroots, because party faithfuls are very happy with pragmatic steps taken by Governor Ayedatiwa to put smiles on the faces of leaders and followers of the party. The recently held enlarged stake holders meeting gives credence to the acceptability of Ayedatiwa’s style of governance and his patronage of party faithfuls.
The so called APC caucus of the House of Representatives and their local collaborators should thread with caution, otherwise they will not find it easy with the commoners in Ondo State who are very happy with the new dawn in the State.
The Ondo APC House of Representatives Caucus should for the avoidance of doubt,note that since Ayedatiwa came into the saddle, the APC party has been growing by the day, with people decamping massively from other political parties to join the party,particularly the opposition PDP, the latest of which was the immediate past Deputy Minority Leader of the Ondo State House of Assembly Hon. Tomide Akinribido from Ondo West, who dumped the PDP to APC, recently with a very large crowd.
The fact is that Governor Ayedatiwa has come to surprise
every Ondo State indigene and resident with his enigmatic governance style, which is thrilling to our people.
These lawmakers should note for their records that just recently, the past speakers of the Ondo State House of Assembly led by Rt. (Hon.) Victor Olabimtan, paid a courtesy call on
the governor, to pay homage and express their loyalty and support for him.
Also, in appreciation of the charismatic leadership style adopted by Governor Ayedatiwa ,more than 90% of the past House of Assembly members in Ondo State have gone to express their solidarity and support for him.
Furthermore, the entire Ondo State House of Assembly as presently constituted, opposition inclusive, led by the Speaker Rt (Hon) Oladiji Olamide have not only thrown their weight and support behind Governor Ayedatiwa,they have also endorsed him for the governorship beyond 2025.
It is crystal clear that the House of Reps Caucus is spreading falsehood out of panic for their second term tickets,as it is clear that most of them are disconnected from the people that they claim to represent. They should come to Ondo State to see the beautiful things the Ayedatiwa’s Government is doing to win the hearts of the masses
I advise these guys to thread with caution because Ondo State people are not willing to tolerate anything against their God- given Governor.
Above all,the they should know that the Government House at Alagbaka is not vacant and no amount of political intrigues or blackmail will create vacancy.
