Alabi exposes inordinate ambition of Ondo Speaker, says Speaker is hell-bent to impeach the Deputy Governor so that he can become the Acting Governor

Judas Iscariot was the treasurer of Jesus’ disciples according to the scripture. But it was said that when Jesus poured oil on a woman, he exclaimed ‘the oil would have been sold and the money is put in the purse’. He didn’t say so because he love the people but because he was the treasurer and he used to take what was in the purse.
This story relates to the Speaker of the ODHA, Hon. Olamide Oladiji who secretly plots to become an Acting Governor in Ondo State. A lot of people would be mistaking the desperation of the speaker over the issue of the impeachment of the Deputy Governor of Ondo State for his (Speaker) love for Ondo State people. As you are all aware of the allegations without particulars raised by the assembly against the Deputy Governor. He’s not doing so because he loves the people but because he has a hidden agenda.
Information has now revealed the real reason why the speaker and his co-travellers have become so desperate to the extend that even after he made a promise before the Masari led Committee to maintain peace and political solution still returned to Ondo State to transmit a letter to the CJ to constitute the panel of enquiry defying all court orders.
The plot which is now being orchestrated by the speaker himself, the Governor’s kinsman, Hon. Ogunmolasuyi popularly called ‘West’ and one Hon. Akinruntan of Ilaje is to ensure that the Deputy Governor is impeached and in the absence of the Governor, the Speaker takes over as the Acting Governor while Hon. Akinruntan becomes the Deputy Governor and and Ogunmolasuyi becomes the speaker of the Assembly.
This inordinate ambition of the Speaker is the reason why the assembly has become so desperate in its plan to impeach the Deputy Governor. These three men have inflicted untold hardship to governance in Ondo State for their selfish reasons.
For almost three (3) months running, the Governor of Ondo State has been absence from the public space since his return from medical trip overseas. Ondo State Executive Council meetings has also not held for four (4) months now. Then the questions, who are those signing approvals? Where is the State Executive Council approving the project being claimed to be going on in the state? Now that budget is being prepare who submits and subsequently signs the budget in the absence of the Governor and his Deputy?
By the foregoing Ondo State people especially Ondo East, where the speaker hails from must rise to the task of cautioning this speaker not to set Ondo State ablaze with his inordinate ambition. It is God that crowns a king and power belong’s to God and he gives to whoever he pleases.
