As an Independent Grassroots Campaign Canvasser of the All Progressives Congress, APC and proud supporter of Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa Candidature, we are compelled to respond to the unfounded accusations leveled against our esteemed leader and flagbearer of the ruling Party by the PDP candidate, Hon Agboola Ajayi. The allegations of poverty of ideas, lack of managerial initiatives, and incompetence are not only baseless but also a testament to the desperation of our opponents.
Governor Aiyedatiwa’s visionary leadership and commitment to development are evident in his numerous achievements, including infrastructure development, improved healthcare, enhanced education, and economic growth. The creation of LCDAs by his late boss, though currently facing legal challenges, demonstrates the previous administration’s willingness to innovate and bring governance closer to the people.
We acknowledge the court’s ruling on the LCDAs and will explore political avenues to address the concerns of all stakeholders. We urge the PDP candidate to engage in issue-based campaigning, focusing on the welfare and progress of our state rather than resorting to personal attacks and inflammatory rhetoric. We caution against perpetuating political violence and thuggery and instead emphasize the need for peaceful and credible elections.
Governor Aiyedatiwa’s dedication to development, unity, and progress is unwavering. His administration has consistently demonstrated a passion for improving the lives of all citizens, regardless of political affiliation or background. As we approach the November 16th governorship election, we call on all citizens to join us in our quest for a greater Ondo State.
