Coalition of Ondo South Senatorial Youth pays a homage to APC State Chairman, Ade Adetimehin in his office

Coalition of Ondo South Senatorial Youth (COSSY) has visited the APC State Chairman in Ondo State, Engr. Ade Adetimehin in his office, Akure, the headquarters of the state capital
on Friday, 1st April, 2022.

The group which was led by the Acting President, Comrade Odukale Oluwaferanmi, congratulated the Ondo State Governor, Arákùnrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu and Chairman of APC in Ondo State, Engr. Ade Adetimehin, for the success of the APC National Convention.

He also appealed to the Chairman to allow a level plane ground for all the aspirants to text their popularity and allow democratic rule to reign supreme knowing full well that Ondo South is dominated by the opposition party, the PDP.

While reacting, the APC State Chairman thanked the group for their efforts to visit him at the state Secretariat for a courtesy visit.

“Frankly, I fell honoured by your visitation. Moreover, this is the first of its kind where youths will mobilise themselves to my office to pay a homage. So, I am greatly delighted for the development”.

Adetimehin charged the youths to be up and doing and ensured Ondo South Senatorial District is taken over from the opposition party, PDP. He further advised the leadership of the group to incorporate all the APC youth leaders in all the wards from the South Senatorial District, ditto the local government youth leaders. We recognize that youths are the engine room of all elections”. Our members should be encouraged to work for the party but not for the opposition party as it was in the last general elections which gave way for the opposition party, PDP”.

In his remark, Comrade Taiwo Gbamila appreciated the grace of God upon the party chairman, Engr. Ade Adetimehin. He said, “Mr. Chairman, the youths from Ondo South are proud to be associated with you because of the grace of God upon. In case you don’t Sir, you are the first State Party Chairman in Nigeria who will spend 4 terms in office. And that can only happen through the GRACE of God. Firstly as party chairman, you completed Barr. Kekemeke’s tenure, second term, you were elected, third term, you were appointed as caretaker, and again, you were elected, making 4th term in the same office. Therefore, you must not allowed your name to be poluted. He then quoted Ezekiel 20:9, 14, 22 for the chairman to see more reason why his name must be protected”.

Finally, the unquenching light of the APC was presented to the party chairman by the Acting President of the noble coalition, Comrade Odukale Oluwaferanmi. All the representatives of the six local governments in Ondo South were in attendance.
